T.E.A.M.
The Transfer Engagement and Achievement Mentorship (T.E.A.M.) program at USF is a peer mentorship program designed especially for transfer students. The program pairs transfer students who are seeking guidance with experienced transfer students who can assist in finding and accessing campus resources, answering questions about campus life and academics, and fostering a growth mindset, leadership skills, and academic success skills.

Our Mission: The T.E.A.M. program supports transfer student success by fostering a sense of positive connection through peer mentorship which encourages engagement and facilitates student access to campus resources.
Our Vision: To be a highly trusted, friendly, and sought-after peer resource helping students find their fullest potential on campus.

Who Can Participate?
Peer Mentors: Transfer students who have completed at least two semesters and have a willingness to help other transfers navigate the university. Peer mentor applications will be available in the spring semester.
Requirements for being a peer mentor:
- Have a minimum GPA of 2.75
- Maintain a positive attitude
- Exhibit a desire to make a positive difference in the lives of their mentee(s)
- Be dependable (ability to make a commitment and follow through with it)
Mentees: As a mentee, you will be paired with an upperclassmen mentor who will help guide you through your life on campus. Your mentor will help you immerse yourself in campus life and expose you to learning tools that will help you succeed as a busy college student in a new virtual environment. If you have questions about student life or academics, your mentor will help you find the answers.
