Academic Seminar Courses

Academic Foundations, SLS 2901, and Academic Transitions, SLS3113, assist students with making a smooth transition from high school or community college to USF.

Academic Success Center Tutored Courses

The Academic Success Center offers tutoring, assistance with study skills, writing help and handouts, and other resources.

Civics Literacy Requirement

Students who are first enrolled in a 91社区 College System institution or state university must complete the state's civic literacy requirement.

 

USF allows students to receive up to 45 hours of credit towards a Bachelor's degree upon successful completion of qualifying exams, such as, AP, IB, AICE and CLEP.

General Education

The state has two main general education requirements: State Mandated Core and State Required Communication and Computation.

Global Citizens Award

A university-wide initiative aimed at enhancing undergraduate students' global competencies through the development of new and improved curricular and co-curricular experiences.
