Bookstore Corral
Whether you are a new or established business, the Marshall Student Center (MSC) Bookstore Corral is an excellent place to introduce, sell, and showcase your product.
Please see below, to learn more about the procedures in place and how to reserve a space at the Bookstore Corral.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Location: The sheltered area south of the Marshall Student Center.
Availability: Stalls are available most Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays on a first-come first-served basis. We do not take Wednesday reservations due to Bull Market.
Time: Stalls are rented from 8am 鈥 5pm. Less time can be booked, such as 11am 鈥 2pm, however there is no price discount for booking fewer hours in a day.
Number of Stalls: The MSC has 16 stalls. Most organizations prefer stalls 1 and 2, because they are closest to the Marshall Student Center entrance as well as the USF Bookstore entrance.
PRICING
Commercial entities are charged a 7% sales tax in addition to the base rate.
The weekly rate includes Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Wednesday bookings are unavailable due to Bull Market.

PAYMENT
Reservations must be paid in full at least 7 business days before the confirmed reservation date.
All reservations will be considered tentative until full payment is received.
If payment is not received in full at least 7 business days before the confirmed reservation date, your reservation will be cancelled.
FOOD INFORMATION
A Food Release Form must be submitted three business days prior to your reservation date. Please note the MSC does not allow the sales of food or beverages.
All food must comply with the Hillsborough County Department of Health regulations & University Environmental Health & Safety regulations.
Food must be prepackaged and/or prepared under proper conditions as outlined by the Department of Health and Safety.
Any food that is cooked or prepared at home is prohibited.
Beverages given out must not be a competitor of Coca-Cola products.
USF POLICY PROHIBITS THE FOLLOWING:
The sale, give-away, or advertisement of weapons, fireworks, animals, diet aid products, nutritional supplements, natural or artificial stimulants, drug paraphernalia, counterfeit items, all burned CD鈥檚, DVDs, and games, and pornographic items.
The promotion or sale of alcoholic beverages, tobacco products, and advertisements promoting alcohol sales at an establishment.
UNIVERSITY CONTRACT RESTRICTIONS
The USF Bookstore is the exclusive seller of all required, recommended, or suggested course materials and tools, including books, course packs, computer software, and materials published, distributed electronically, or sold over the internet.
The USF Bookstore is USF鈥檚 exclusive 鈥渙n campus鈥 and internet seller of other items typically sold in college bookstores, such as books, educational supplies, notebooks, stationery, desk and room accessories, gift items, class/alumni rings and jewelry, and clothing, including all items bearing a USF emblem, logo, insignia, or other identifying mark.
Vendors who violate contract restrictions may lose Bookstore Corral privileges.
MAKE A RESERVATION
To begin the reservation process, please send the following information to SA-EMS@usf.edu:
- Name of client/organization.
- Date(s) you would like to book. Please note, reservations need to be booked at least 10 days prior to the requested reservation date.
- Contact Information: Email Address and Phone Number
- Nature of what you plan to do while tabling (selling items, etc.).
- County Business License (issued by a county within the State of 91社区) or a City
of Tampa Flea Market Vendor License. To learn how to obtain appropriate licensing,
vendors can review the following websites:
- Non-Profits who wish to participate must provide a valid copy of their 501(c) tax exemption certification.
