Research Listserv

There are two listservs in use for the USF research community:

Subscribing to one of our listservs is an excellent way to stay informed of the latest developments, announcements, and information about the USF research community and upcoming activities. The listserv software is an email-based tool to keep faculty and staff connected and in-the-know regarding research-related information at USF. The listservs are an ideal way to learn about and inform colleagues of:

  • Seminars, webinars, workshops, and training sessions
  • Policies, procedures, best practices, and updates
  • Awards programs
  • Fellowships
  • Funding opportunites
  • Limited submission opportunites
  • Grants
  • Research administration
  • Research compliance
  • Business-related information
  • Upcoming USF community activities

Please note that the listservs are not:

  • An open forum for discussion
  • For personal advertisements or to discuss or conduct non-university business
  • A forum for personal opinions

LISTSERV RULES

  • Do not post commercial messages or solicitations of any kind whether on behalf of an individual or entity.
  • Contact people directly with information you believe would help them.
  • Do not post any defamatory, abusive, profane, threatening, offensive, or illegal materials.
  • Do not post anything that you would not want the world to see or that you would not want anyone to know came from you.

ETIQUETTE

  • Include a specific and concise topic in the subject line. This allows others to respond appropriately and search the archives by subject.
  • Messages such as 鈥渢hank you鈥 or 鈥減lease send me information鈥 should be sent to individuals, not the entire list.
  • Administrative messages should be sent to the list administrator, Alex Lorenz. This includes messages such as 鈥渞emove me from the list鈥 or 鈥減lease change my e-mail address.鈥
