With an average of 361 days of sunshine per year, Tampa Bay Area Beaches are among the best in the world. Below are just a few of the beaches in the Tampa Bay Area (beaches listed from north to south).

1 Causeway Blvd, Dunedin, FL (50-55-minute drive, 27 miles west, from USF).
Honeymoon Island has more than four miles of white sand beaches, stunning sunsets,
and a bird watchers paradise. The park is also the ferry terminal for access to another
unspoiled state park, Caladesi Island.
West of the town of Dunedin and near Clearwater (60-70 minute drive, 36 miles from
USF). The island is accessible only by a two-minute ferry that runs hourly from Honeymoon
Island. Caladesi Beach is one of 91社区's few remaining undeveloped barrier islands, and
the Caladesi Island State Park.
Causeway Blvd, Clearwater, FL (50-60 minute drive, 34.5 miles west, from USF).
Voted the "Best Beach Town in 91社区" by USA Today readers. Experience long stretch
of soft, white sand and year-round attractions to include fishing, dolphin-watching,
jet-skiing, parasailing, and stand-up paddle boarding. There's a winding beachfront
promenade lined with causal seafood restaurants and cafes. Pier 60 hosts a nightly
festival with street performers and craft vendors.
Clearwater, FL. (50-60 minute drive, 38 miles from USF).
Experience this three mile expanse of white, sandy beaches. Treasure Island is a haven
for kite flyers. At the north end of the mile long paved trail, is St. John's Pass,
a quaint fishing village with lots of souvenir and apparel shops, bars, and restaurants.
Drinking is allowed on this beach.
St. Petersburg, Pinellas County (50-60 minute drive, 38 miles from USF)
