Tuition Deferment
Tuition Deferment
A tuition deferment prevents cancellation of registration for non-payment of fees, and temporarily prevents assessment of the late payment fee. If you are an on-campus housing resident and a USF meal plan recipient, the payment deferment due date in will serve as your payment due date for tuition/fees, housing and meal plan charges each semester.
Receipt of a tuition deferment is not a guarantee that you will receive aid and does not prevent a cash collection hold from being placed on your student account. Cash collection holds prevent you from registering for future terms and from obtaining official transcripts until your account is paid in full.
If you still owe tuition after the expiration date has passed, you will be assessed a late payment fee by Student Accounting Services (SAS)
If you do not want to be obligated to pay your tuition, you must drop all of your classes before the end of the drop/add period.
