Peer Observation Program
WHAT IS THE PEER OBSERVATION PROGRAM (POP)?
A non-evaluative, team-based observation program sponsored by the Center for Innovative Teaching and Learning (CITL).
The focus is on sharing your teaching experiences with other instructors in an open way that benefits everyone. Participants are placed in interdisciplinary teams of three to observe, share and discuss their approaches to learning and teaching.
WHY JOIN POP?
The Peer Observation Program is about building a community and culture of mutual professional development where quality teaching is appreciated. This program provides a valuable opportunity to observe other instructors in action in a judgement-free environment, learn from others, reflect on one鈥檚 own practices, and discuss potential improvements in teaching and learning.
