Join the CITL community as we celebrate teaching at USF! This event is an opportunity for all who teach (faculty, adjuncts and teaching assistants) to come together to share ideas and recognize efforts related to teaching and learning.

Celebrating Innovation in Teaching: Poster Session & Keynote Speaker - Tuesday, April

Join the CITL community to share teaching tips, hear from keynote speaker Rob Curtin, Director of Higher Education for Microsoft Worldwide Public Sector, and enjoy a buffet lunch.

Keynote Speaker
Rob is the Director of Higher Education for Microsoft鈥檚 Worldwide Education Industry team. He has been deploying technology in education for over 30 years. Beginning with IBM in 1988, he implemented the first classroom networks in the Boston Public Schools and joined Microsoft in 1991 - before Excel had the AutoSum button. In the 30 years since first joining Microsoft, Rob has been a two-time EdTech entrepreneur, spending a decade working on the Exeter Student Information System (1995-2004), and co-founding Pip Learning Technologies in 2014, providing cloud identity and student privacy services to K-12 school districts. Rob is most passionate about the role of technology to guide student ownership of their lifelong learning journey and help college and universities adopt intelligent systems for more student-centric engagement.

The Tampa campus event will feature a poster session where faculty and GTAs from across
USF can do just that!
The poster submission deadline has passed.
Details
- Posters can have multiple co-presenters listed (though we ask that each presenter is "lead" on just one proposal).
- Posters should summarize the main points, focusing on the "What," "How," and "Why" of your topic.
- To get started:
- submit your proposal at the link below by March 29.
- CITL will review submissions and, upon selection, email proposers a poster template file
- then, simply insert your content into the template, send back to CITL, and arrive at the Marshall Student Center on April 9th ready to discuss your topic and celebrate teaching and learning!
Celebrating our Teaching Community: Faculty Panel - Thursday, April 11
Poynter Corner, Nelson Poynter Memorial Library, St. Petersburg campus
9:00 am - 10:30 am
Join the CITL community and hear from your colleagues Nicole Stowell, Professor of Instruction, Lynn Pippenger School of Accountancy, and Dr. Morgan Gresham, Associate Professor, English, in a panel discussing various teaching and learning topics, along with coffee and
conversation! Panel will begin at 9:30.
