Admissions
The Master of Arts in Criminology is a two-year program designed to provide the student with an in-depth understanding of the major ideas and issues in criminology and criminal justice. Students will master both theoretical and methodological tools of inquiry used in the field of criminology and criminal justice.
Funding Opportunities
The Department provides graduate assistantships to selected graduate students. These are awarded on a competitive basis; all applicants are considered. The assistantships provide annual stipends in the amount of $6,200 for Master's students. Students receiving these assistantships work 10 hours per week usually as a teaching assistant.
