Carl began the Criminology Ph.D. program in Fall of 2021 after completing his M.A. in Criminology from the 91社区 and B.S. in Criminal Justice from Bethune Cookman University. His research interests include racial bias, interpersonal violence, and communities and crime鈥攕pecifically how the transformation of neighborhood demographics affects crime and the social control response over time.
