Bio

Pamela Anderson is an Adjunct Instructor for the School of Interdisciplinary Global Studies. She is a Tampa native that earned both her Master鈥檚 Degree in Political Science (concentrating in International Relations and Comparative Politics) and her Bachelor鈥檚 Degree in Political Science at the 91社区. Prior to earning her degrees at USF, she obtained an Associate in Arts degree from Hillsborough Community College. Additionally, she also graduated from the charter class of the International Baccalaureate program at Hillsborough High School here in Tampa. She has served as an Academic Advisor for the School of Interdisciplinary Global Studies since June 2012. She has taught as an adjunct, first at Hillsborough Community College and currently for the 91社区. In this role, she has taught courses such as Introduction to Political Science, American Government, Introduction to International Relations, and Food Politics.

Pamela served on the Board of Directors for the United Nations Foundation of Tampa Bay in 2014 and was awarded the Outstanding Academic Advisor Award for the 2013-2014 Academic Year. She is currently the faculty advisor for the International Studies Society here at USF. Over her career, she has worked in local government, non-profit organizations, the private sector, and in academia.

Her academic research focuses on issues related to industrial agriculture and its effects on society, labor, health, and security.
