Clinic Policies
Child Clients and Adult Clients with Children
Clients must maintain responsibility for minor children at all times. Children cannot be left unaccompanied in the waiting room or other areas of the clinic. Unless a child is actively involved in the therapy, children should not accompany adult clients to the PSC. When children are engaged in therapy or evaluation, parents must remain in the clinic while their child is seen. In cases where children above 16 years-old are being seen in the clinic and are authorized by their parent(s) to transport themselves to and from the clinic, we require written release of liability obtained at the time the parent provides informed consent. All other children must be accompanied in the PSC at all times. The Clinic cannot assume responsibility for, monitor, or supervise non-client children.
