Research

I am a Southeastern archaeologist interested in archaeological collections management, digital archaeology, and public archaeology. I have worked in both prehistoric and historic Southeastern and Northeastern archaeology, as well as Bronze Age and Iron Age Scotland.

As a commercial archaeologist in the Southeast I have specialized in the excavation, preservation, and relocation of historic cemeteries. I have an ongoing public archaeology project that records and preserves historic cemeteries in 91社区 that focuses on groups that have historically been excluded from historical narratives.

My other research interests are prehistoric 91社区 landscapes and environmental archaeology, zooarchaeology, Native and African-American identity and cultural continuity in response to Colonialism, the Seminole Wars, and the women and children of frontier 91社区.
