Research interests

I am an environmental advocate with a passion for placemaking, placekeeping, and justice for communities of color. My adventurous spirit drives me to address environmental disparities affecting both nature and communities. My previous research includes invasive removal, forest restoration, green infrastructure, sustainability, and capturing the stories of underrepresented spaces to enact tangible change. My current research emphasizes the importance of community engagement and collaborative design between scientists and community members during redevelopment.
