Law School Admissions Test (LSAT)

Format

The LSAT is a paper and pencil exam that consists of five 35-minute sections of multiple-choice questions in three different item types. A 35-minute writing sample is administered at the end of the test. It is important that you bring plenty of sharpened #2 pencils as neither pencils nor sharpeners will be supplied at the test center.

Retest Policies

Examinees may retake the LSAT up to three times in a two-year period. (Exceptions may apply; see for details.)

Visit the LSAC website for more information on in advance of the test. There are no provisions for short-notice requests for accommodations.
