Emergency Food Response

Welcome to the Emergency Food Response Working Group! 

Our goal is to build a more agile and resilient network of collaboration, communication, and resource management across emergency response and food assistance providers in the Tampa Bay region to learn from and be better prepared to respond quickly to extreme weather events.

Our guiding objectives include:

Objective 1: Expand the Network of Local Stakeholders

Objective 2: Strengthen Food Delivery Mechanisms

Objective 3: Create and Distribute Training Resources

Objective 4: Improve Communication and Coordination Across Agencies

Objective 5: Enhance Community Engagement and Awareness

Objective 6: Implement Journey Mapping to Identify Barriers

Objective 7: Develop a System for Resource Sharing

Objective 8: Strengthen the Resilience of Local Food Systems

Objective 9: Conduct a Comprehensive Analysis of the Regional Food System Using an Iceberg Model and SWOT Analysis

Objective 10: Align Regional Emergency Food Response with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
