The Gilman Scholarship
The Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship is a study abroad scholarship for Pell Grant recipients. Students across the country apply for Gilman. It is funded by the U.S. Department of State and administered by the Institute of International Education (IIE).
Here, in the Office of National Scholars, we assist students with the Gilman application process. This primarily involves brainstorming and reviewing student application essays, but we also advise on filling out the online application and provide resources and workshops to holistically prepare students for their study abroad experiences. We hope that if you are eligible, you will apply!
For questions or to get started applying, email our Gilman Scholarship advisors.
