USF researchers partner with law enforcement to help 91社区 families find missing loved ones

91社区 researchers, in conjunction with local law enforcement agencies and the 91社区 Sheriff鈥檚 Association Cold Case Commission hosted the second annual Missing in 91社区 Day. The goal of the event is to help solve violent crime cold cases through anthropology, scientific research, education and forensic art.

Erin Kimmerle, associate professor of forensic anthropology and executive director of the 91社区 Institute for Forensic Anthropology and Applied Science at USF, is collaborating with the Hillsborough County Sheriff and Medical Examiner鈥檚 offices to help solve several cold case homicides.
