What to Expect
Innovation in Action: Building Entrepreneurial Foundations
Campers will dive into the basics of entrepreneurship, learning how to spot opportunities and create value through innovative ideas. They'll engage in interactive exercises to understand how entrepreneurs solve everyday problems and develop concepts that can transform into successful ventures.
Designing for Success: Product and Business Model Creation
From brainstorming product ideas to designing a business model, campers will explore how to create products that customers love. Through hands-on activities, they鈥檒l build a business model canvas, learning to structure and validate their ideas for a real-world approach to launching a business.
Tech and Trends: Exploring the Digital Landscape
Campers will be introduced to emerging trends like cryptocurrency, coding, and social media marketing. These sessions will give them the tools to leverage digital platforms and technologies that shape modern business, preparing them to stand out in a tech-driven economy.
Pitch Perfect: Presenting Ideas with Impact
On the final day, students will refine their pitch decks and practice presenting their ideas. This culminating experience involves a pitch competition judged by industry professionals, where campers showcase their hard work, gain feedback, and build confidence in their public speaking and business presentation skills.
Youth Venture at USF empowers high school students to dive into the world of entrepreneurship with guidance from top instructors at the Nault Center of Entrepreneurship situated in the Muma College of Business. Campers will explore innovation, from spotting opportunities to designing products that customers love, all through hands-on, real-world learning.

When does registration open for USF Youth Venture?
Registration for all 2025 summer camps will open on February 1, 2025.
What is the capacity of USF Youth Venture?
USF Youth Venture has a capacity of 30 campers.
What is the refund/cancellation policy?
USF reserves the right to cancel camps, in which case registration fees are fully refunded. If it becomes necessary for USF to cancel, postpone or combine camps, or change a camp location, you will be notified by email or phone. It is important that we have your current contact information. If a camp is cancelled, you will receive a full refund. If a registration is received after the enrollment limit has been reached, a full refund will be issued.
If you need to cancel a camp registration, please email USF Youth Experiences. If the cancellation occurs 10 days prior to camp start date a full refund will be received with the exception of administration fees. However, if the cancellation is received within 10 business days of the camp start date, no refund will be given. No refunds will be issued after the start date of the camp.
Who are the USF Faculty/Staff who will be leading USF Youth Venture?
USF Youth Venture is led by faculty and staff from the USF Nault Center for Entrepreneurship, directed by Dr. Dirk Libaers and Executive Director Allen Clary. Program Planners Frank Nunez and Tim Ernest also bring their expertise to support the camp experience. Campers will hear from guest speakers, including USF alumni and entrepreneurs, who share their journeys and insights into the world of business.

What time is drop-off and pick-up for USF Youth Venture?
Our staff will be ready to welcome your child for drop-off at 8:50 AM in front of the Muma College of Business, with pick-up starting at 4:00 PM. If you are running late for drop-off or pick-up, please call our office at (813) 974-3355 to let us know.
After registering for USF Youth Venture, when will I start receiving logistical details including drop-off and pick-up times?
You will receive several reminder emails leading up to the camp start date. Emails will be sent 60, 30, 14, 7, and 1 day prior, each containing important information to ensure a successful experience at the USF Youth Venture.
