Exercise Science students gain experience as personal trainers through USF FIT Program
Created in 2005, the FIT Program pairs seniors in USF鈥檚 Exercise Science program with faculty and staff members of the university as a part of the program鈥檚 course, 鈥淚ndividualized Fitness and Wellness Program.鈥� Through the FIT Program, the students help their clients complete fitness evaluations, develop individualized training plans, and oversee a post-assessment to measure the results of their client鈥檚 efforts.

Ryan Blew has known what he wanted to be when he grew up since the third grade. The USF junior says the feeling has stuck with him into the present day. He was inspired by his third-grade teacher, silver-medalist Olympic swimmer Kristy Kowal, but she didn鈥檛 inspire him to become an Olympian.
