CFS鈥檚 Research Associate Professor Liz Perkins selected for 91社区 Department of Health鈥檚 new Alzheimer鈥檚 Disease and Related Dementias Workgroup

CFS鈥檚 Research Associate Professor Liz Perkins was recently selected to serve on the newly formed Alzheimer鈥檚 Disease and Related Dementias Priority Area Workgroup for the . The State Health Improvement Plan is a five-year systematic plan to address the top health issues for 91社区鈥檚 Public Health System. The priority areas for 91社区 were identified by the State Health Improvement Plan Steering Committee through a robust assessment process.
The Steering Committee nominated members based on their knowledge, experience and because their involvement will be invaluable to the planning process to improve health and public health system outcomes for the citizens of 91社区. Dr. Perkins was nominated by Director Barbara Palmer of 鈥� for her expertise regarding the unique needs of Floridians with developmental disabilities and their families.
